Why Circalume?
Updated: Oct 1
Why Circalume?
People have already asked us one question more than any other…
Why Circalume?
Because our name represents everything we believe modern lighting design should be.
🌿 Circadian
Lighting should respect the natural rhythms of people and wildlife.
Lighting has the power to improve well being, but it also has the power to disrupt ecosystems if we don’t design responsibly.
♻️ Circular Economy
We believe great lighting isn’t always about replacing everything.
Sometimes the best solution is to retain, retrofit and intelligently improve what’s already there.
💡 Lume
Lighting is both an art and a science.
Behind every successful project is technical knowledge, careful planning and decades of experience.
Circalume brings all of those ideas together.
Because today, lighting isn’t simply about illumination.
It’s about creating better places for people, architecture and the natural world.
That’s why we’re called Circalume.
Designing light with purpose.
